About Abundant Life Bread
In 2018 three women from ALC Crafts began to learn how to make bread from Mrs. Lin Quahe. In 2019 Duangnapa Prommanee began to bake bread in her neighborhood to test the market and to practice this craft. The response was good and in 2020 she began to bake more intentionally and moved sales to the Canaan Coffee Shop on the International Community campus. In March of this year Covid 19 shut down all schools in Thailand but Duang continued this small bread-making business, delivering on her own to the homes of teachers and students’ families in the area.
ALC Crafts is a business as mission venture that teaches a vocation to women, creates a safe job environment and opens an opportunity to learn about God. Duang has been with the Abundant Life Center since she was 22 years old and has grown in her faith and in serving in the ALC Church and the community. She is one of the ALC Organization leaders. In a desire to use her gifts and passion in the food industry starting this business as mission endeavor was a natural fit for her. Her vision for Abundant Life Breads is to make good quality bread, keep learning how to improve and expand her bread varieties, develop a strong and stable market and be self-sustaining. She also has a vision to grow personnel who will join her in this vision and also provide a space to grow together in their relationship with Christ.
