DUANGNAPA PROMMANEE
What I learned during this season was finding out there was a God which I would never have heard about in my family. Thais have no foundation about God so it is very difficult to understand that He created me, loved me and that he died for me. What helped me in this process was having an opportunity to study the Bible and learn about God first. Facing a difficult failure in my life caused me to experience the true of love of God for me.
I have walked with God for 19 years since that turning point in my life. Now I would like others to experience God’s love for them and hope that every activity that we do at ALC would reflect God’s Spirit in us and that people would see God’s love in us. My biggest burden is for my family to know God but they have shown no interest in my efforts to share my faith with them.
Starting Abundant Life Breads has taken a lot of energy, time and heart and sometimes I’m not sure I can do it. I am encouraged by the responses of my customers and I’m learning new things to improve the business all the time. I am praying for a new partner to walk with me and to grow together in our faith and in this ministry.

ALC Breads also closed during the third wave of the Delta Variant of the Corona virus. With an ailing mother, Duang needs prayer for what the future holds.
I am the second child of 4 girls from the northeast of Thailand and studied until 6th grade. My family was unable to support my studying further and at 16 years old, I came down to Bangkok to find work to support myself and help my parents. I came with my relatives who told me I could possibly do adult education while working but I found it impossible to do with my working situation at my first job where I lived with the electronic shop owner’s family and had almost no free time at all. This dream of continuing my education was lost as I faced the reality of needing to work every day and not having anyone to come alongside me and help me. I had worked as a maid and then a salesperson, and was looking for work when my cousin told me about a place that provided housing and helped people find work and it was then that I had my first experience with the Abundant Life Center. I became part of the ALC community and was able to enter the adult study program there, finishing my high school education.
